Using Forms for feedback and assessment
Google Forms is a powerful tool teachers can use to improve instruction through short surveys and quizzes. Students can take them using any device and results can be available immediately for discussion or for planning the next day's lesson.
Watch the video below to get an overview of Forms. It covers these topics.
I have a suggested practice activity listed below the video that could be done while you watch it or after if you prefer.

Practice
Take some time to make your own Form. You could just make a few random questions to try out each feature or maybe you'll want to make a questionnaire you could send friends or family for fun. As shown in the video, be sure to include all these steps.
How to Have Forms Scored Automatically
Google didn't create a way to score the forms automatically, but someone else wrote a script that will allow you to check any form and store the results in a spreadsheet in about a minute. The script is called Flubaroo. You can see the process for using Flubaroo here.

- Create the form and change the settings for logging in and saving the usernames as appropriate.
- Change the text that displays when the user submits the form.
- Make a few questions using multiple types.
- Add a section header and an image.
- Change the theme.
- View the live Form.
- Copy the URL of the live Form and either paste it in an Edmodo class or send it in an email to yourself or someone who might take the survey.
- Take the survey at least once yourself and have others take it, so you will have data to analyze.
- Look at the data in the Responses spreadsheet. View the graphs in the summary of responses page.
- Practice saving a copy of a completed Form as shown in the last step of the video.
