Creating screencast videos and posting on Weebly
This is a simple process for making a video of a presentation or lesson and then hosting it on a Weebly website.
Originally I put this together for teachers, but students could use it too. I show how to upload to Google Drive because that way we know students can access the videos.
Step 1: Record your presentation with Screencast-o-Matic.
I did not make this first video, but it clearly explains the process. It shows how to capture a PowerPoint presentation, but you could do this with anything showing on your screen, such as a flipchart from ActivInspire or even just showing things from the internet.
Two things to note about this tutorial:
The speaker says you can't record a full screen presentation in PowerPoint, but I tested it and it seemed to work.
When you're done, pick the Publish to File option at the end and save it to your desktop. That will take you right to the point you need to be for the next tutorial below.
